If you've ever dreamed of turning your side hustle into a 6 or 7-figure business, this episode is for you. Today on the show, I'm chatting with Julia Haart, star of the Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, and Co-Owner and CEO of Elite World Group - the world’s first talent media conglomerate comprised of 48 global agencies representing over 5,400 of the world’s most dynamic talent. Julia is the definition of a BOSS.
Until the age of 42, she lived within the confines of an Orthodox Jewish community in Monsey, New York, where she was married off at the age of 19 (after only knowing her husband for a few hours), and went on to raise four children in a community where women had no rights, no voice, and no hope for anything other than becoming a mother and a wife. Miserable and desperate, Julia escaped Monsey and her Orthodox life with her children and reinvented herself into a fashion industry mogul. Her mission now is to shift the power dynamic among the talent in her agency by transforming them into media channels and internationally recognized brands. She wants all women to be financially free and empowered, and is doing so by revolutionizing the modeling industry.
Julia's story is inspiring, to say the least, and in this episode we talk about her path to self-reinvention, freedom, and finding and creating real love within herself and her family. Get ready to be blown away.
Be sure to watch My Unorthodox Life on Netflix, and click here to pre-order her book, Brazen, coming March 2022.

In today's episode, we're talking about letting go of the opinions of others and leading our intuition lead us. If you're struggling with making a decision in your life, this episode is for you.
How often have you found yourself hoping, visualizing, praying or meditating on someone (a potential partner, a company, a lender etc) choosing you? Ever notice we immediately hand our power away without even thinking twice? We immediately assume we need them more than they need us. It's time to flip the script from "I hope they pick me" to "I wonder if I want to pick THEM." This mini episode will show you how.
Welcome to our new mini series: Champagne Thought of the Day! I'm going to start bringing you a mini episode with a "champagne thought" (a powerful, effervescent, high vibrational concept) for you to take with you throughout the day. Think of these as little hot pink jewels of inspiration. Today we're talking about romanticizing our past. We've all done it. But does it serve us? Tune in to find out how to stay in the present moment and keep your mind focused on the magic of the future.
If you love fashion and the arts, you're going to LOVE this episode. I have Joanie Coyote on the show, who is a Costume History Professor, Theatre Costume Designer, and Stand-Up Comic.
Costuming brought her from Texas to New York in the 1980's where she made costumes for Broadway plays such as Starlight Express, Miss Saigon and Phantom of the Opera. She was a dresser for Les Miserable and a few other Broadway shows. Joanie stumbled into other creative outlets such as acting in a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play, Top Girls, and waitressing at the Original Improv Comedy Club which would lead to her eventually performing comedy in Houston and Los Angeles for many years. Joanie is a single mom to an awesome daughter and is committed to empowering women in any way possible.
Joanie and I talk about the rise of women in the fashion industry, how fashion has evolved through the times, the power of pink hair, our fashion predictions for a post-COVID world, and so much more. Grab a cup of coffee and get ready to dig in to this fabulous conversation!

I used to hate saying no to people, especially early on in my career. I felt like I was letting someone down, then I'd get in my head and wonder if I was missing out on an opportunity, or if people would perceive me as a bitch (funny how that men don't think this way, right?) Once I started evaluating my energy, everything changed. I now check in with myself regularly and ask myself how I'm feeling. Do I feel drained? Or do I feel energized? And if I'm drained, what's the cause? Typically it's because I'm overextending myself. In this episode, I'm sharing practical tips on how to start saying no to others so you can start saying yes to yourself. Grab a notebook, because you'll want to take notes!

Turning 40 last year was a powerful moment in my life. And I knew in the months leading up to it that I was going to own my age, fully embrace my power, and walk into the next half of my life as the absolute best, most badass version of myself. I discovered Star Monroe, coach and creator of The Midlife Revolution, and instantly knew this woman would become a mentor to me. She is bold, unapologetic, and truly a queen in her own right, and I'm thrilled to bring her to you today on the show. In this episode, we'll talk about what it looks like to totally own who you are, redefine sexuality beauty as we approach our older years, and rock the f*ck out of your life.

So many women are going through divorce, but so few are actually talking about it. Although women are more empowered than ever, it seems as though the topic of divorce has become somewhat taboo, especially in this world of heavily filtered, Instagram-perfect relationships and families. In today's episode, I'm chatting with award-winning divorce attorney, published author, and founder of the Connecticut family law firm, Bauer Law Group. With almost two decades of experience, Renée is committed to empowering all women to redefine their sense of peace and purpose in their new life. Renée’s insights are sought after by local and regional media outlets, podcasts, and conferences where she speaks on co-parenting, blended family dynamics, relationships, and the art of reinvention. She is host of the Happy Even After Podcast and creator of the d-course, teaching women how to get through their divorce with their sanity intact so they can find their own version of Happy Even After. She's also been divorced twice herself, so Renee brings a personal spin to the topic along with her professional experience. You're going to love this one.
If you've ever wondered what goes on "behind the chair" then you're in for a treat! In this episode, I chat with Terra Harvell, six-figure stylist, salon owner and educator, and founder and CEO of Harper Ellis Hair Co. Terra has built a flourishing business behind the chair for nearly a decade and has turned her craft into a six-figure income. Her impressive resumé includes being the Founder and CEO of Harper Ellis Hair Co and owner of Salon Five Zero Four in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but she hasn't stopped there. After mastering the artistry of the business, Terra quickly realized you must provide the FULL package in order to be an industry leader. Cue The Harper Ellis Hair Co. Academy! Her Academy has educated hundreds of stylists digitally and in cities such as Fort Smith and Nashville. Not only has she educated on her exclusive hand-tied luxury hair extensions method, but she has also shared her knowledge of all things business and marketing that led her to becoming a six-figure stylist. Her dream is to share her valuable knowledge in hopes that it will help other stylists find as much success as she has found!
