As women on a mission to change the world, our energy and overall wellness should be our priority. I don't know about you, but if I don't feel good, I can't accomplish everything I am determined to accomplish. I've been on a quest to improve my health over the past few years, learning everything I possibly can along the way. That's why I'm so thrilled for today's episode. I sat down with Charlotte Traas, director of education for New Chapter vitamins and supplements to talk all things gut health. You guys know my favorite mantra, "Trust your gut. That b*tch knows what's up!" In today's chat, we're going to talk about why your gut truly does know what's up, and why the right supplements can support you to be the best possible version of yourself.

What happens when our dreams come true and we don't recognize them? In this episode, I'm sharing the importance of visualizing success as a woman in business, and also being open to changing that vision at any time, for any reason. Our best work comes from feeling our best, and we can't get there if we're clinging to old ideals and never checking in with ourselves. What's important to you right now? What do you value? What kind of woman do you want to be? How do you want to feel? We'll dig into all of these questions and more in this juicy episode.

I like to say I see the world through rosé colored glasses. I make it a point to choose optimistic, positive, blissful thoughts, which create an optimistic, positive, blissful reality. The first step to making any real change in our lives and our businesses is to change our energy. Our energy, or vibration, is the frequency we put out into the world that determines the quality of our experiences. Getting in a high vibe is the quickest way to supercharge your soul and skyrocket your success. We cannot create quality content from a low vibration. In this episode, I will help you identify what is, and what is not serving you, raise your frequency, and create your energetic outline for your success.

The moment we put our success in the hands of others is the moment we lose control of our future. As someone who has struggled with her weight for most of her entire life (I joined weight watchers at 11 years old) I know what it feels like to have a completely dysfunctional relationship with food and with my body. After becoming a professional dieter, and losing and gaining weight like it was my job, I was done. Done beating myself up. Done starving. Done binging. Done putting the keys to my self-worth inside a pair of skinny jeans. I spent years reprogramming my brain and finding ways to accept myself for who I am and what I look like, regardless of what the number on the scale said. I immersed myself in the body positivity movement and it saved my sanity. I finally learned to love myself – fully. I felt better, like I could breathe again.
But at the same time, I knew I wasn't my fully being my best self if I was overweight, and on the road to putting myself at risk for disease. Not to mention, not feeling entirely confident in my skin. Yes, I loved myself. But I didn't love my reflection because I knew, deep down, it wasn't me. Being 100% honest here.
And then recently it hit me – you CAN be body positive. You CAN love your body. And STILL want it to be leaner, stronger, smaller, and healthier. You can love your body, and want to make it better.
I had made “weight loss” a dirty term because I thought wanting to lose weight meant you didn’t love yourself. And that’s completely untrue.
What a revelation.
And we all know a good revelation leads to a revolution…
In this episode, I'm sharing how I gained a completely NEW perspective on weight loss, and have already lost over 10 pounds in 3 weeks in the most positive, effortless way possible.

Thank you to our sponsor, Metal Marvels!
Metal Marvels is a brand for badass & bold women who don't fit societies standards. Katie, the creator, was always searching for mantra jewelry with more powerful & in your face messages. Being a woman who curses like a sailor daily, the messages just weren't out there. So she created the amazing Expletives collection that gives women jewelry that helps them feel empowered to be themselves, to be bold, and use the word fuck as frequently as they want. Societal standards for women and success, are bullshit and she runs her company that way too showing that someone who curses like a sailor, has tattoos and purple hair, can be extremely successful in this world. Make sure you follow Metal Marvels Instagram for daily inspiration, a heavy use of profanity, and badass products. And you can save 20% off for being a Style your mind listener. A few months ago, my publisher reached out to me to let me know that they wanted ME on the cover of my new book (insert freak out moment here!) I had a TON of emotions flowing through me when I got the news – I was super flattered, nervous, excited, anxious - you name it. I happily agreed, but kind of put it out of my head until a few days ago when my editor emailed me to say they had scheduled the shoot – and it was happening in less than 2 weeks!
For anyone listening who has ever had a big event – whether it was your wedding, your own book cover, your brand photo shoot, a big presentation – ANYTHING like that – you know the feeling of paranoia that sweeps over you when you’re just a few days away from that big day.
I felt those nervous feelings creeping in when I learned about the shoot, but this time, I was able to stop myself in my tracks and flip that anxiety into peacefulness by RECLAIMING my POWER. Rather than stressing out, I decided to get into action and start doing confidence-building activities that would make me feel good. And I want to share the EXACT steps I took with you guys so that you can use them as inspiration if you find yourself in a similar situation where your insecurity takes over.
This episode’s power mantra:
Confidence is available to me at all times.
